Theoretical study on performances of absorption-ejector heat pump system driven by low-grade energy

Develops a new absorption-ejector heat pump system driven by solar energy. Presents its operation principle, establishes the mathematical model for each component, and analyses the influences of heat source pressure, cooling water outlet temperature and chilled water inlet temperature on COP and injection coefficient. The results show that this system not only produces higher grade heat, but also has a higher efficiency. Under given conditions, system COP increases from 1.52 to 2.02 with the increase of heat source pressure and from 1.00 to 4.52 with the increase of chilled water temperature of evaporator inlet.
